Eclipse Callisto is released!!!
You can download it now here.
Are you eclipse-d enough?
This blog has recently bloated with Google News :P Well, that’s what happen if you hear too many news about Google.
This entry have nothing to do with Google (except that you can use Google to answer the test). I want to give a test to them who think they are eclipse-d enough. Try to answer the questions and judge yourself based on it.
- Who is the Director of Eclipse Foundation?
- What is Callisto?
Well, if you can answer 2 questions above, you may go further down:
- How many projects are involved in Callisto?
- What is Mylar project?
- What is Nebula project?
- When will Callisto be released?
- What does DTP stands for?
- What is the name of test project in Eclipse?
- Where is the aggregator of blogs about Eclipse?
- Who is Wayne Bayton?
- How can you get iPod in Eclipse?
Are they enough? Are you eclipse-d enough?
Waiting for the release of Eclipse 3.2M5...
Here I am… Waiting for the release of Eclipse 3.2M5 which is planned to be out anytime this day according to the draft plan.
Ed Burnette give me big reason to wait for the release by saying that the release will cut the memory requirement in half.
This is pretty important since my memory currently is only 512MB, I am still waiting for my 1GB memory replacement comes from UK.
UPDATE:
Download Eclipse 3.2M5 here and see the new and noteworthy
Creating website using Eclipse component?
Sounds weird? But it’s true…. OSGi (see definition in wikipedia) architecture inside Eclipse is not Eclipse-only specification. It’s kind of general specification.
Infonoia’s guy just realized this. You can see his result in the webpage. If you want the general idea, you can also read here.
IF… we have a SWT converter to HTML, maybe someday we can run Eclipse from the web… Will it happens?
